I have now put the popular series of ORNAMENTAL LETTER DESIGNS that appeared in Modern Machine Knitting in 1998 into PDF format for easy email attachment. Also available in DesignaKnit format and on disk for Brother FB100 disk drive. For details and pictures click on FOUR NEW PAGES OF DESIGN ILLUSTRATIONS!! In response to requests I have now compiled a page of illustrations of all my individual DOG design sheets. I have also put all these designs - 31 breeds, 64 graphs (electronic & punchcard) so far - into PDF format ( see below for more information about PDFs) and on to a CDRom so that knitters with computers but no knitting program such as DesignaKnit can have this useful archive and print out the graphs for each design as and when it is wanted. The CD comes with full instructions for use and costs £15.50 in the U.K. $35.00 in the U.S and €25.00 in Europe all inc. p&p. For a FREE sample page in PDF format please email me - address below. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My very latest commission has been a jumper for horse lover Sandra to wear when she is competing. It is based on my show jumping motif from 'JO'S SPORTS' with personalisation by the addition of the horse's name on the front and and Sandra's name and the name of her Club on the back. Kate Dessau has sent me lovely pictures of the jumpers she has made using my Wren and Skateboard designs both of which she requested and have appeared in MACHINE KNITTING MONTHLY Magazine. She uses a PASSAP machine and the Creation 6 program for the placement of the motifs. Don't they look good! The Skateboard designs are now in the Miscellany collection and the Wrens will shortly be joining the Natural World page.

See PRODUCTS page. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have been busy with several special commissions since the Norwich Show, where I met many old friends, and here is my son Mark wearing what the Punch and Judy man is getting for Christmas and holding the photo from which I worked. 'THAT'S THE WAY TO DO IT' is on the back. For those interested in the technicalities, in the main motif the red is done on the machine and all the rest is Swiss darned or embroidered. I personally prefer doing this to intarsia.
